Posterior Composites Tooth colored dental fillings

Posterior Composites are white fillings that are made of a composite resin that starts out soft and is activated by a curing light to turn rock hard.  They are bonded to the teeth with dental adhesives and are beautiful and strong.  Dr.  Wade has developed a technique over his 19 years in practice in Honolulu that creates a filling that mimics that contours of the teeth.  Some white fillings just look like a white pool sitting in the tooth and does not honor the original contours of the teeth.  As one dental assistant from another office stated when seeing Dr.  Wade's fillings "Wow,  it really looks like the tooth!  Can you replace my white fillings."  Dr. Wade recommends them for larger fillings or in esthetic areas.  Ask us about replacing your old worn out silver fillings with new white tooth colored fillings.
